Getting Ready to be Pregnant

Preparing to get Pregnant

I know what you're thinking.

Getting pregnant is not that easy. At least for some. Some woman can get pregnant as soon as they engage with their partner while some waited lifetime just to conceive. One out of six couples has difficulty conceiving but that doesn't necessarily mean we'll never have a baby.

Three of us on our group got married. Two of my friends talked about getting pregnant as soon as they got married but years has passed and none of them succeeded. Actually 1 of my friend got married more than 3 years ago but she already had a 15 year old daughter from her previous relationship. She got married again 3 years ago but until now nothing happens. They are still doing their best and their getting some advice from their doctors and advice from some friends on how. I don't really know if their taking some medicines or drinking some herbal products to increase their chances.

In my case, we planned to have our own baby after a year and we never thought of taking birth control methods so it's perfectly fine for us if I got pregnant right away since our parents are expecting a new grandchild from us. It's been a year and we still don't have any signs. So what should we do?

My husband's best friend advice him that if you really wanted to have a baby then you have to abstain for at least one week before we engage.

Is it really effective? What do you think?

Possibilities of Conception

My journey will start from conceiving.

How?

Conceiving

I know what you think? But it is not that simple.

What is Pregnancy first of all?
In Bible's view, pregnancy is the condition of having conceived and having the unborn offspring within the mother’s body. By his command to Adam and Eve from Genesis 1:28, “Be fruitful and become many and fill the earth,” Jehovah God indicated that pregnancy was to be part of the woman’s normal role from the beginning. But as I wrote before we have problem.
No, my husband is not impotent. Yes he has the capacity to engage. Maybe the sperm count thing? We do not know yet. It could be me? Getting pregnant could be complicated. Some couples are dying to have a baby. Right now if Jehovah God permits we would like to have one. We are praying that we could have our own baby or babies(because there is a chance that we could have twins) not just taking care of our niece.

Good thing my husband has health insurance so we decided to go to one of the accredited laboratory and conducted his Annual Physical Examination. After many hours, he is done and right now we are still waiting for the results. We are very eager to see the result and we are praying and hoping that there is no problem.

So is there any chance for me to become pregnant?

What do you think?

Planning for Pregnancy

Plans on getting pregnant

Me and my husband are planning to have a baby.
We've been married for a year but we are planning to have a baby on our first anniversary.
So we are very much excited! But there is a problem...

My husband had a previous relationship and they live-in for 13 long years but his ex never got pregnant for some reason. We wanted to consult a doctor and have some test but he is hesitating. He said that he is fine and there is no problem with him. Impotency might be one of the problem? Does he need medicines for impotency?

For one year, we wanted to enjoy ourselves being just the 2 of us. Going to the mall, watching movies, going to the park like other couples do when they are still courting. But time passes by. I wanted to be pregnant. We wanted to have a baby. We envy those couple pushing their stroller while the baby is laughing her heart out inside while looking around.

Who Am I

Hello

My name is Mei and I am 23 years old by now when i am writing this blog.
My husband and I got married last year and we are almost celebrating our first anniversary.

For some I am still young to bear a child but for many I am on the right age to get pregnant and bear a child. What do you think?
For me it is not about age. It is about you, the bearer of the child, if you are ready to get pregnant or not. It is really up to you, though some factor may affect conception or having the unborn offspring in your womb.

Talking about age, how young a woman be pregnant?
You will be shock to know that the youngest mother in the world that bears a child is 5 years and 7 months old only! Her name is Lina Vanessa Medina, from the hamlet of Antacancha (village Ticrapo, near Pauranga), Huancavelica region, 55 miles Northeast of Pisco in Peru, born on September 27, 1933.

The Journey

Pregnancy is the reason why men so thankful that they were not born girl. Why?

Have you been in a very long journey that last for few days carrying a heavy load? How about for 274 days or more?
That is the number of days a woman should carry a child in her belly. It is the normal cycle of pregnancy.

For me it is a blessing but for some it is a curse...

Why is it a curse?

I will answer that question from day to day basis on this blog so I hope I can help those pregnant women like me.

First of all is Why women are at risk?

ACCORDING to the United Nations Population Fund, each year more than half a million women die of pregnancy-related causes. In addition, the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) notes that annually more than 60 million women suffer acute complications from pregnancy and that nearly a third of these sustain lifelong injuries or infections. In developing countries many women are trapped in a cycle of pregnancies, deliveries, and self-neglect, leaving them worn out and ill. Yes, pregnancy can be harmful—even dangerous. Is there anything a woman can do to make her pregnancy safer?
